I am writing in support of Jim Creagan for the Cornwall School Board. I have known Jim and his family for several decades now. I am confident that he will bring both business experience and a compassionate, community-oriented heart to the board.
As a former Cornwall business owner and member of the Chamber of Commerce, I am thrilled that Jim will bring years of business experience to the board. Jim has led a successful family-owned business for nearly a decade and has brought several jobs to our small town. He also serves on the financial committee of St. Marianne Cope parish.
Jim is as caring as he is fiscally responsible. A member of the board of Baby Steps Baby Pantry in Newburgh, Jim provides diapers to more than a hundred local families each month. Jim also built a broad coalition of teachers, parents, and district leaders to advocate for our children to return to school in-person. Thanks in part to Jim’s compassion and team-building skills, most of our children have returned safely to full-time in-person instruction.
Jim and his beautiful young family represent the best our community has to offer. He will make an outstanding member of our school board.

I am writing in support of Jim Creagan for Cornwall School Board. Jim and I have known each other since High School when we both played football for the Cornwall Dragons, and more recently as parents of young children who attend school together and play little league baseball.
As a parent, former Main Street business owner and member of the Cornwall Town Board, I know how important our School District is to the overall image of a family friendly town, property values and the economic vitality of our community. We need someone that has skin in the game, will make sure to cheerlead at times, provide tough oversight and hold the district accountable when necessary.
Since the start of the pandemic, Jim has worked with others to build a coalition of teachers, parents, and local leaders to advocate for the return of our children to school, helping to begin the road to normalcy for the youngest students in the district. My wife and I are grateful for the safe return of our children to COH Elementary School in April for full in-person learning.
With the impacts of the pandemic lasting into the future, we need Jim on the Cornwall School Board. Please join me in supporting him.

As a long time board member and current COH Village trustee I am delighted to hear Jim Creagan is running for Cornwall school board.
I have known Jim since he was a teenager. I proudly served on the Cornwall Youth Football program and board with his dad for 25 years and, as a young student, Jim gave back volunteering with the Cornwall youth.
Upon his graduation from Notre Dame, I was happy to see him back in town running the family business and making Cornwall his choice to raise his children. Jim continues to give his time by volunteering for Baby Steps Pantry in Newburgh, a member of the St. Thomas Finance Committee, as well as Cornwall Little League.
I believe he is well qualified and raising a family will give him great educational perspective. I hope you join me to support Jim Creagan for school board.
Thank you,

To the Editor,
I am proudly supporting Jim Creagan for election to the Cornwall Board of Education.
Jim is a graduate of Cornwall schools so he can speak to the value of a Cornwall education which led him on a path to obtaining degrees at the Universities of Notre Dame and Maryland. Jim is currently raising four young children in Cornwall where his two oldest children are current students at Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary. If elected, Jim will be a voice for all our children on the Board to help ensure the quality of their education is always the focus of the Board’s activities.
One of the Board’s stated goals is to ‘meet the short-term financial needs of the district while being mindful of our long-term fiscal strength’. Jim is more than qualified to help meet this goal as evidenced by his ownership and management of a local family business that proudly employs several CCSD taxpayers. Additionally, I have gotten to know Jim over the past few years through our membership on the Finance Committee of St. Marianne Cope Parish in Cornwall where I have witnessed Jim donate countless hours to ensure we are careful stewards of the financial gifts from our parishioners.
Jim also serves as coach in the Cornwall Little League and as a board member of a local diaper pantry that helps families in need. Financially, Jim and his family have been long-time supporters of many of my Knights of Columbus’ charitable events such as our annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Seniors.
For these many reasons, I will happily cast my vote for Jim Creagan on May 18th, and I encourage you to do the same.
Thank you,
Sean Camo
